Members of our Provincial Council recently joined delegates from across the globe in Dublin to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann.

Under the theme 75 Bliain ag Fás (75 Years of Growth), the weekend was a powerful reminder of how far the organisation has come since 1951. It was a weekend of strong engagement and a shared commitment to the future of our tradition.

The delegation attended a spectacular Soirée at the Mansion House in the presence of the President of Ireland, Catherine Connolly, enjoying an evening of inspirational speeches, awards, music, and a lively céilí with the Blackwater Céilí Band.

Our own Youth Officer, Calum McGregor, represented Britain on the Ardchomhairle. Calum spoke about his exciting new podcast project, Foinneóg, which is dedicated to celebrating Comhaltas history and stories.

We are incredibly proud of Jennie Nolan (our 2025 Caroline Judge Fegan scholarship awardee), who officially collected her TTCT diploma at Comhaltas headquarters! Comhghairdeas Jennie!
