Ceol Le Chéile
This youth initiative is led by our youth officer Calum McGregor to promote the promising young musicians in Britain to expand their musical knowledge and experience.

About Us
Ceol Le Chéile means 'Music Together', and our aim is to showcase all of the young talent from across Britain. The orchestra is aimed at any musicians between the ages of 18 to 26 years old. All instruments are welcome!
Our mission is to further cross-region collaboration and communication. Whilst giving young people the opportunity to gain experience and knowledge as a professional musician.
The orchestra will be performing a selection of trad pieces and exploring musicianship and arranging techniques to create a neo-trad suite of music for various performance opportunities.
Our 2025 Musical Director
We are proud to announce our new musical director Hugh Sheehan.
Hugh is a musician, composer, sound designer, and audio producer from Birmingham and he produces work for concert hall, theatre, radio, and has recently recorded a podcast series with the BBC. He’s a multi-instrumentalist, an avid composer, and has had an incredibly successful career as an artist

Coming up for Ceol Le Chéile
Ceol Le Chéile had a fantastic summer, with unforgettable performances at the All-Ireland Fleadh in Wexford - including the International Showcase Concert at the Opera House and a lively set on the Gig Rig.
A big thank you to everyone who came along to support these brilliant young musicians, and to Comhaltas for hosting our very first in-person rehearsal in Dublin earlier this year.
This is only the beginning! Ceol Le Chéile has exciting plans in the works - so watch out for new announcements over the next few months.
