Written by Fleadh Chair Conor Walsh The All-Britain Fleadh 2026 at Brentwood County High School was a tremendous celebration of Irish music, culture, and community, made even more special by the outstanding contribution of the school's Year 12 student volunteers.

Throughout the weekend, the students demonstrated exceptional enthusiasm, professionalism, and dedication. They warmly welcomed visitors, offered directions and assistance, answered questions with confidence, and ensured that guests felt valued from the moment they arrived. Their friendly approach and willingness to help created a positive atmosphere that was appreciated by competitors, families, adjudicators, and spectators alike.

The Year 12 students were proactive in every aspect of the event. Whether assisting with registration, supporting venue operations, helping performers, or responding to the needs of visitors, they embraced every task with maturity and commitment. Their ability to listen carefully, communicate effectively, and work together as a team ensured that the event ran smoothly from start to finish.

One of the key ingredients in the success of any Fleadh is the dedication of its student volunteers. Their energy, reliability, and community spirit play a vital role in creating a welcoming and well-organised event. The students exemplified these qualities throughout the weekend, becoming true ambassadors for Brentwood County High School and the wider community.

The success of the All-Britain Fleadh 2026 was built on teamwork, and the contribution of these young volunteers cannot be overstated. Their hard work behind the scenes helped deliver a memorable experience for everyone involved, demonstrating the positive impact young people can have when they are given responsibility and the opportunity to serve their community.

Brentwood County High School is incredibly proud of its Year 12 students, whose commitment, enthusiasm, and exemplary conduct helped make the All-Britain Fleadh 2026 an unforgettable celebration of Irish culture and tradition.
