Last month the Birmingham branch invited the Irish in the UK TV to join them for one of their monthly sessions at Norton's Bar in Digbeth. It was there 25 musicians played, sang and lived through their Irish heritage.

They are now sharing their love for Irish culture with new members of the public at Norton’s Bar every 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month. The session runs from 3pm onwards and is open to the public to listen, participate and enjoy.
Marian Dwyer also runs an Irish language session every 2nd Sunday of the month between 1-3pm. This is an opportunity to learn a new language or get familiar with an old one.
If you’re interested in picking up a new instrument, every Thursday night between 7-8:30pm beginners are welcome to join at Our Lady of Lourdes in Yardly Wood. A session following afterwards at D.J.
