MIDLAND REGIONAL FLEADH 2008 |

The Midland Regional board are hosting the Midland Regional Fleadh on
Sunday 20th April at Princethorpe College. All entries must be received by
the Fleadh secretary, Natalie Ruane, no later than 30th March. Admission on
the door is 4 for adults and 2 for children with competitions commencing at

FLEADH RULES & GUIDELINES (New) |

Attached is a copy of
the updated Fleadh Guidelines as put together by the Music sub-committee and
agreed upon at the Provincial AGM. Please note
that these are guidelines and should be used as such - there are many ways
to run a Fleadh, so just use these as an aid. There are a few points to mention which came up at the Provincial AGM. First of all the timetable should be distributed approximately two weeks before the Fleadh. The Regional timetable should be given to branch secretaries and the All Britain timetable to Provincial and Regional secretaries. Secondly Senior entries can be accepted on the day up to 11am, but they should be encouraged to enter along with everybody else, where possible (page 5). Finally please note the subsistence allowance for adjudicators on page 10. These guidelines can be printed as a booklet if your printer has duplex capabilities. |
